Louisiana Nursing CE Requirements

All registered nurses (RNs) in Louisiana are required to complete either 30 contact hours of continuing education approved by the Board or a minimum of 900 practice hours within the two-year licensure period. Practice hours must be verified by the employer using a form provided by the Board.
Continuing Education courses approved by other State Licensing Boards are recognized and accepted for fulfilling continuing education requirements for this state.
